Dimensions Petites #3
Na alle updates van de Knabbel en Babbel ook weer eens een update van de Dimensions!
Het is voor mij altijd weer even een omschakeling als ik hier een tijdje niet aan geborduurd heb. Al mijn andere projecten hebben alleen hele kruisjes met twee draadjes, terwijl hier ook halve kruisjes gebruikt worden. Maar wat het vooral dubbel opletten maakt is dat ik altijd mijn kruisjes 'verkeerd om' heb gedaan. Tot nu. In dit project zou dat te veel gaan opvallen met de verschillende steken. Ik moet erg wennen aan de andere manier van borduren en moet dan ook regelmatig een aantal steken uithalen. Maar het project vordert gestaag!
After all those updates of the Chip and Dale, finally an update of the Dimensions!
It is always a chalenge for me if I have not stitched on this for a while. All my other projects only have full crosses with two threads, while this pattern also asks for half stitches. But what makes it especially challenging for me is that I have always done my stitches the 'wrong' way. Until now. In this project it would be to obvious with the different kind of stitches. I have to get used to the other way of stitching. Often I notice that I did a few of them the old way. So there's a lot of frogging on this piece. But the project is progressing steadily!
